So... I'm actually one of those people who have animé crushes. My first would probably be Mamoru aka Tuxedo Mask from Sailor Moon and Kaede Rukawa of Slam Dunk way back in grade school. Then there was Tamahome, Hotohori and Nuriko from Fushigi Yuugi (The Mysterious Play) during high school. Followed by Sagara from Full Metal Panic, Ryuuki from Saiunkoku Monogatari (Color Cloud Palace), Mikami Teru from Death Note and a lot more.
I present you my latest (I-want-him-for-myself!) man:
Haji
A fellow admirer said that, "whoever doesn't worship him is a fool." I agree!
He's Saya's Chevalier in Blood+.
He's immortal. He doesn't sleep nor eat. He plays the cello and carries around a coffin-shaped case. He has bat-like wings and a monster arm. He's an absolute freak and I love him!
I love Blood+. It gave the same feeling as Death Note although on a different level. It's a crazy, beautiful story. I loved the ending although it reminded me a lot of Phantom of the Opera--the animé had a lot of allusions to it. It also features good sound editing and original soundtrack courtesy of Hans Zimmer and Mark Mancina as well as several Japanese artists.
Haji and Saya (circa 1800)
The (Last?) Kiss
This is definitely way better than the Twilight Saga. Bella and Edward have nothing on Saya and Haji.
So I'm not a Twilight fan. Let's just say I didn't find the books dazzling enough. Bite me!
PS: I'm going to watch the movie though and that's just because I already liked Kristen Stewart even before she got cast as Bella. The sequels?! I'd rather turn to stone.

My grades are finally complete. Ma'am Ombajeno, rather Janno, texted me my final grade in IT131 last night. I still can't believe I'm not done with enrollment yet. My scholarship forms aren't signed yet because I have a Last Warning status and Sir Shing needs my grades to assess if my scholarship will still continue this semester or not.
I was given the greatest scare of my life last Friday by who else, but Ma'am Peña. Thank God for my mother (I love you!) who instilled in me the importance of being always present in class and to Sha (our beadle) for coming just right in time. What a relief that was when Ma'am gave a +1 for having complete attendance in class. Don't get me wrong, I'm not proud of the fact I struggle to get the blasted 83 and pass my Accounting class. You will never understand what I'm going through except if your an Accounting major. Grrr...
Way back in High School, I thought it was easy to get an 83. Don't blame me. Modesty aside, I never had a grade lower than 85 in my Form 137. But in the Accountancy Department, 83 is heaven and an 82 is worst thing that could possibly happen to you. All this is true except when your Martin.

I finally finished watching Why Why Love. Geez! I cried buckets. It was good--actually one of the best Taiwanese dramas I've seen so far though I haven't seen that many.
I like the filial family thingy it had going on. And Mike He was too darn cute. Sunako would've bled a river. HAHA
---
I also finished reading Holes by Louis Sachar. It was really, really good. It made me smile.

School's about to start tomorrow and I have to rush to finish my enrollment. I have to add some subjects on Thursday because Ma'am Peña seemed out of it when I had the consultation so she missed giving me some subjects. It's a bit of a hassle but I really couldn't complain. I was given another chance, another shot to continue in the torturous road of Accountancy and anyone, any Accountancy student would feel blessed. I know I am. Whew!

Everybody seems happy. I am happy. Tara is happy. Well, happy's not the word, I guess. It's more like, relief from the first semester. You could say that the storm is finally clearing or something like that.
I'm back in Zamobanga for enrollment and I feel... cool--maybe, it's just the weather. It looks like it's going to rain yet again.
I haven't been online for the past few days of sembreak because our PC broke down and I think it's my fault. Oh, well.
Something happened yesterday that's making me smile at the very thought of it. I would've loved to see his face when my stepmom gives him a piece of her mind this morning. We may not retaliate when you mess with us but we know how and when to hit where it hurts the most. Don't mess with anybody else's family business. Mind your own!
Anyways, it's almost second semester and Ateneo Fiesta! Can't wait!

Finally, I can have a break--if you can still call it that. Seriously, ten days doesn't really count as a semestral break. Officially, school ended last October 23rd which is probably the latest sembreak among all the universities in the entire Philippines. Gah! It sucks but since it's almost December, there's really nothing to sulk about. Cross your fingers--Ateneo Fiesta will be great! However, I can't still believe we'll still have classes on December 2--right in the middle of fiesta week. What a bummer but come to think of it, I don't think it will really mean anything anyway--I mean, come on, who would want that?--not the teachers and especially not the students.
Grades aren't in yet. Teachers have until November 1st to pass them. (Is that an omen?!) The anticipation and the waiting isn't driving me nuts... yet. I'm too tired to think about it. But once it sinks in, it won't be easy. It never is. But you kind of get used to it--you know, brace yourself for the worst and hope for the best both at the same time. Whoever wrote the text quote had it right, Accountancy is sweet torture. Some people think we're crazy to go through with it--Nah, we're just ambitious masochists.

UPDATE: Fin212 grade is in. So far, so good.

I really don't want to burst her bubble but really, she just got it all wrong. I don't want to be mean but everyone would have said it was far from what she thinks. Oh, well--whatever.

We don't have final exams for Religious Studies and Systems Analysis and Design because almost everyone aced RS and we really don't have anything to be tested on in IT. At least, that's two subjects less to worry about.
I hate Tuesdays and Thursdays. Thank God I only have today and next Tuesday to bear and finally be done with it. God help me, if the same happens next semester. The classes I have on those days just give me the compulsion to eat my hair or something just to relieve me of impatience and boredom. I guess, it's just because they're evening classes and I'm such a morning person. I don't know why I feel that way but I'm not the only one, you should see what Winmark and Lace are writing down, not lectures definitely. (Lace just phases out now and then but she does jot down notes.)

Finals will start next Thursday and then we'll have a break and boy, do we really need one. Especially the graduating seniors--I know they're at wit's end, with Auditing and all. They don't have Law Final Exams though because according to Atty. Camins, "they have suffered enough" which is true but still it's not fair.

The CPA Board Exams will start this weekend. God bless all ADZU takers!!!
