Entries for September, 2006
Geez! I can't seem to write a full and decent post these past few days. Something always comes up. Well, I'm here now and I'm typing as briefly and concisely as I can.
We had the Acquaintance Party last Friday, September 1. Incidentally, it was also Marion's birthday. *pop* The AP was a blast--enjoyed it, food sucked but the dancefloor moved me. *hihihi* I just saw Marion a while ago and still he's still talking me into shifting to Education. I do, really, want to teach but my reasoning tells me that one doesn't have to study how to teach in order to teach though one does need some units in education but not the whole stuff. I can still teach when I finish, id est, accounting subjects.
Yesterday, I had a bitch fit. I encoded this requirement we had for Marketing and I was about to print it out when the f***ing computer just hanged and the file got lost. This happened three consecutive times and I really wanted to slam the computer to the wall. Good thing, I finished it on time or else. *earth shakes*
Hurrah! I got my first ever line-of-8 grade in Religious Studies. I'm so happy. *sobs* In fairness, I never failed to answer any of his graded recitation questions. I hope I get thirteen. (Nevermind it!) I also hope that this will continue towards the Final Exams. *prays*
I watched the end of "A Love To Kill". It was... nothing--"Exactly!"
I love "Windstruck"!
I'm going to watch "You Are The One". Just because.
Marion wants to watch "Fierce People" but I'm still waiting for "The Devil Wears Prada".
goody... goody...
Nota Bene:
I met Ma'am Pacita Rivero at around 10:45AM while I was on my way to the water district. She was with Fadzma. I presume they have a contest to attend to. *hum hum*

I just finished my classes. I had Homemade Ice Cream Making in the morning and Film Viewing--RENT in the afternoon.
I wasn't really quite happy with how our ice cream turned out. It was all CREAM! Cream with minuscule whatsits they call cookies and cream flavoring. Ha! It was yogurt/cream=cholesterol. My friends seemed happy with it. They mopped it up good. Hehe
The movie was quite good. I imagined it would be better in theater but you can't miss something you've never seen. What-ifs kill you though. Sir Sabdilon is still one of the teachers/facilitators that has never failed to fill it to the brim. The movie speaks of the SIMO's theme for these year, "Panag-uban" or companionship. Simply put, FRIENDSHIP but its real theme is stated in the song, Seasons of Love. How do you measure a year or 525,600 minutes? Following are the lyrics of the song. My favorite song in the movie musical is not it though, it's Tango:Maureen.

Hmmm... now I'm in front of the pc, I don't know what to write about. I had a lot of things I wanted to write about a minute ago but now they're all gone. Pffft! Poof!
For starters, (as my mind starts to cooperate and think) I requested Che to buy me several books last week when she went to Manila for the weekend. I am now a proud owner of the complete set of Bob Ong books, The Devil Wears Prada and Memoirs of a Geisha. What bliss this is! I'm getting a hang of being a bibliophile DAW. Hehehe
I saw Marvick yesterday, Gate 1 ADZU. I was on my way to pay the electric bill. I asked him what he was doing and he said he was going to buy Magic The Gathering cards. I've always thoughts the Magic cards are more sensible than YugiOh but they are rather expensive. Well, we all have our vices. To each his own. (Do books count as vices?!)
The finals are near. Well, que sera sera! (This is so not me.)
Well, got to finish requirments. Tata!

I think it's about time I introduce you to my peers--the people I grew up with and the people who made my life A LIFE.

From top left: Nouriza, Reyner, Raihana, Jacob and Clariz
Nouriza (aka Nou or Riz) She didn't graduate with us because she went to Wisconsin to study as an exchange student. She's a great friend. She's now a freshman at Xavier University studying my dreaded course, Accountancy. Way to go, Nou!
Reyner (aka Reyn or Jan2x or Blue Blink) He is my best friend. We share the same birthday, January 6th. He and I have this weird notion of friendship and many may be quite off with it but nevertheless, we understand and love each other and for us, that's all that matters. He is studying engineering at WMSU.
Raihana (aka Naning or Hana) She is crazy! Well, not really but I'll say she's the female equivalent of Jacob. They both love to sing out loud and make fun of each other. She's fun to be with. There's never a dull day wwhen your with her. She's taking up Nursing at BASC.
Jacob (aka Jayke or Big Mouth Singer) He never fails to make me laugh. He is very funny. He once retorted that he doesn't have any problems. Haha Really! He is also studying Gen Engineering at WMSU.
Clariz (aka Caing) This girl has a great personality. Jusk ask anyone. She is in her own words, "SEXY". Hehe She is taking up Nursing at WMSU but she really wants to be a Veterinarian. Not to mention she's in love with... Foxy, her dog.
From top left: Angelie, Annalou, the little boy (I don't know his name!) and Athena
Well, this is the Magno brood. Angelie (aka Angie) is my highschool classmate. She loves to sing and our group of friends used to spend a lot of time hanging out at their house. She went to WMSU to study Nursing but just this year around August, their family migrated to Canada (in Willowdale, Ontario). She's now a senior at Northview Heights Secondary School.
