Entries for December, 2007
I feel shitty. It's because of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named-Ever-Again-In-This-Blog. We had a fight--another battle of words. I swear his EQ is so way below sea level. Gawd! Spare me please.
I went home (Basilan) yesterday and I missed the Tug-of-War match between our department (Accountancy) and the College of Nursing. We won! I hate that I missed it.
The Ateneo Fiesta is still ongoing and will end on the 9th. How was it so far? I guess, it's still the same as before but I'm just one person.
My, my. It's already December. I'm getting old.

Christmas
Christmas decorations this year was pretty much the same as last year. My stepmom did a poinsettia-themed tree. I love the Belen pic, it turned out great (in my opinion).

All Saints' Day with the Nieces
Last November 1st, I got to catch up with my nieces. Vane is a year older and Miles is a my age.

Durian
My dad asked me to have these pictures printed out. I didn't and he forgot all about it so I'll post it here instead. I don't eat durian, all to the pleasure of everyone in the household. That's my dad, stepmom and stepbrother in the pictures.

NAMASTE Overnight
The bears had a jolly good but very tiring time (see Martin at the second pic) during the facilitators' training last June.

Christmas has come and gone. My Christmas Eve was lousy and so was my Christmas Day. If it weren't that Earl and Marion came for an unexpected visit last night, I would've just ate all night long. Clariz and I pondered (thru sms) why Christmas seems to get worse every year or why Christmases of earlier years we're better or in fact really great. I don't know but I'm sure as hell it's not because of the poor economy... blah blah blah. Marion told me he saw Winston and Marvick at our church which boggled me a little since Winston is a Protestant and Marvick is a Tausug Muslim. Maybe, they just joined our Catholic friends since there was nothing else for them to do. So much for the Christian-Muslim gap everyone seems to be bothered about! HA!
I don't think the holidays (New Year's) would get any better for me. Aside from being boring and stuffy, we were given loads to do by our teachers (LAW and FINANCE). But then again, who knows? Things might turn out great later.
Eleven more days to go. I feel so old all of the sudden. It's just lately that I realize that my Dad's only 26 years older than me, not that it matters or anything. I'll be twenty soon, the oldest of the BSAc Bears. In high school, I wasn't the oldest. Pupung became 20 last November 4th. Irene and Dominic, I think are also 1987. Boy! Twenty years of life and still counting.
Anyways,
FELICES PASCUA Y PROSPERO AÑO NUEVO!
(MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!)

I'm into Hallyu this last two years and I'd just like to share this song. It's an approximate english version of a song from the Original Soundtrack of 200 Pounds Beauty. Kim Ah Joong, the actress who portrayed the obese but gifted singer who went under the knife to get the love of her life sang the original Korean version. Its title is Byul (Star).

Here's the original version as grabbed from the movie.
