The Ateneo Fiesta '08 ends today but it seemed over before it even began.
Lousy. Crappy. Boring.
These are only some of the words students are calling this year's fiesta--if you can even call it that.
The organizers are feigning concern on crowd control in excuse for random exclusivity. They paid a heavy price for that. Only a few students even attended events, nay, only athletes attended their events. Sure, the cheerdance, pop dance and dancesport competitions gathered a lot of audience but since only a few were allowed to get inside the venue (for the first two), the rest of the students opted to go home.
Few fiestas back, the school is always packed until late but now you can barely see students inside the campus. The food stalls didn't even open up until noon. Why is that?!

Off to more interesting things. The fiesta was pretty much a sad excuse for a celebration but there we're some happy moments.
After four years of waiting, the AAO Tigers finally took the crown for the Cheerdance Competition which has always been won by the Nursing White Angels(?). I was so affected that I cried when it was announced. I really didn't care that we're not the Over-All Champions this year. We already took it from them last year. This time, it's the Cheerdance Competition. I heard they're fuming. Joy!
We also defended our title in the Tug-of-War Womens Division. We had three games but only played twice (CSIT default), both against the College of Nursing and we won both times. 
I don't know why most colleges are riled up against the College of Nursing. It has always been that way since I started college. Oh, well! Winning against them is pretty sweet so I guess we can't be blamed.

It's almost Christmas Break.
I already found a gift to give for Kris Kringle, thanks to Multiply. 
She said she'd be dissapointed if she receives what she wants which is weird but I already bought it so there's really nothing she can do about it. However, I could keep the gift for myself and just buy her another one. HA!
I'm not really in the mood for school for the past few days--er, since AtFest '08 I think. That's why I'm not to pleased with the results of my quizzes. It sucks but what the hell, it's almost Christmas!!!
I haven't seen how our house looks like, with the decorations and all. I haven't been home since November. I miss the Jose Mari Chan December mornings.
