Entries for July, 2009
This week was hell for me. All our teachers in all our subjects from Monday to Wednesday gave us long quizzes. I guess that made up for the fact that we don't have classes next Monday to Wednesday since the 4th Years will have their Retreat. Or is it the other way around? I don't know. I don't care. I'm just relieved that the week is over and the next one's pretty loose. XD
Proof of being loaded with schoolwork is that I haven't posted anything since Father's Day. Thank God for mobile Twitter and UPD8, I still was able to update my page and Facebook regularly.
We're having the annual AAO party on July 31 for I think the third time. Different venue though. I'm excited. I still haven't found the yellow dress. I'm browsing LOOKBOOK.nu for other options. The theme of the party is FASHION STATEMENT after all. It's quite clever of the officers to tag it as a fashion show instead of an acquaintance party. That way, students won't be able to rant that there's no "acquaintance" going on.
Why are there no Preview magazines available in this city?!?! It's bloody horrific! I had to settle with Stella. But though it featured Japanese fashion well in its July issue, I still found myself wanting more. Pauline, we need you in Zamboanga!!!

I love being a mean girl. If I don't like you and show it, then give it back to me. Then, I might like you, respect you even. Not liking you is one thing, hating you is another. And I hate passive people.

I went back to Basilan for the weekend.
Monday is a Moslem holiday and there's a lot of school work to be done so I need free internet. HA!
I found a great way to send tweets and update your Twitter page through SMS. Click HERE. For more information about this, click HERE.
I uploaded some videos on Facebook. One of my birthday surprise and three of last year's Christmas Party. I miss the Bears terribly, more now since they're sending group messages that I don't have a clue about. I'll see them in October. Hopefully, they're already CPAs by then and we (Me, Lace, Winmark and the rest of the Fifth Years) have succeeded in passing through the first semester unscathed. We can do it!
Deadlines for our Donor's Tax Docket and Mgt report is next week. Plus, we'll have our 3rd long quiz in Auditing. This semester is becoming more stressful by the week.
I also posted photos of my dad's birthday and Father's Day celebration at Kalugusan Beach.
I got to watch 17 Again and Blood: The Last Vampire. 17 Again wasn't that bad except that I couldn't stop myself from cringing every time Zac Efron and Leslie Mann have you know, sexual tension. I mean, yuck! Blood: The Last Vampire needs to improve its F/X. I bet the animé movie was better. I still love Blood+ more. Believe it or not, I haven't watched a movie in the cinemas yet. No Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen. Not even Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Oh, well.
I was busy buying stuff for the Fashion Show even though it'll be in two weeks yet. I have the dress and the shoes. I even got stockings and a pin. Now, I only have to survive the next two weeks of academic hell and I'll be set.
Help!
